Come to The Dark Side – We have cupcakes.

Oh ya people – our side now has cupcakes.

Living with Celiac is not the worst thing that can happen to you…at least not until it’s time to celebrate an event. Have you ever noticed that since you were told “Gluten is your enemy” that you no longer jump at the chance to go to birthday parties, weddings, baby showers etc. Its not that you’re a Grinch, its just that watching other people enjoy endless amounts of cake and deserts makes you really want to start glaring menacingly at family members just to make them think you did something to their food. (If none of this rings true to you, then sorry, you’re simply a lot nicer or oblivious than I am)

Well, I am pleased to scream from the rafters that we no longer have to suffer in silence. We get to participate in the debauchery too. Small catch,  you will have to bring them yourself.

I digress.

A wonderful little bakery in Cochrane, GF Patisserie, has found the secret; the secret to the greatest GF cupcake you will ever taste. Personally, I think they even sprinkle them with a little fairy dust which sends you faster to cloud 9 then before. These cupcakes are so wonderful that Boyfriend and I now try to look for reasons to celebrate and have a cupcake.

The first time www.glutastic.com was viewed by others – celebrated with a cupcake. Doesn’t matter that it was just my mom who looked, we had to celebrate! Getting up on Monday morning and managing to get to work ON TIME – celebrated with a cupcake. Completing a Rock Band marathon without the neighbours complaining – celebrated with a cupcake. There is no event to small to celebrate with these cupcakes.

So please everyone. Go forth and celebrate. Pick up 6 vanilla and 6 chocolate cupcakes and celebrate everything that happens to you in a week.

I suggest maybe pre-ordering or arriving early. (check out the website for how to do that) Everything there is really that good, and they will sell out fast.
