I can shed some light on the Gluten Free Certification Organization for you.

GFCO sets a standard of 10 ppm or less gluten, twice as strict as that proposed by the FDA and accepted as safe by CODEX and European Union. Our certification program requires companies to submit to regular third-party audits, complete routine on-site raw materials, equipment and/or product testing, and random 'point-of-sale' product testing.

GFCO currently has certified products from the USA, Canada, Colombia, and Switerland. We have completed audits in Israel as well and are working with companies in a number of countries.

GFCO sets the strictest standards for GF certification world-wide and is the watch dog for consumers to have confidence in their GF product selections.
