GLUTEN FREE MENU!

They have one! And it even comes on its own page. No picking through menus trying to figure out if sentences like “mouth-watering salmon in a delightful sauce” translates into “the salmon is gluten free but the sauce isn’t”.

Its a limited menu, with the usual suspects attached: steak, chicken, salad, mashed potatoes, butter chicken etc. But they have done the work for you. They tell you what sides you can and cannot have with each item. They tell you that there is nothing Gluten Free about gravy (just in case you have a laps of judgment) and the best part is that as soon as the waitress sees you holding it – they take CAUTION with your food.

Am I jumping out of my skin over the menu?

No. Because its not really that original.

Am I thankful that they recognize that there is a large portion of Gluten Free people out there?

YES YES YES.

If anything, the menu makes me feel like someone finally cares. And really isn’t that all we want – to be recognized that we are people too! Our money spends the same as everyone else!

My only caution – not complaint – is that it can take a long time to get your food. The only reason being that they take their time making sure its done right.  So I caution you that it might not be a quick meal on the go. Plan for a little extra time.
