Just in time for the weekend at the cottage in L.A, Lethbridge Alberta that is.

MORE BEER.

I found this at the Willow Park Wines and Spirits. I bought it simply because of its name – Glutaner. Truth be told, I thought, at first, that it said Glutinator, which I personally think is a much better name. But no one asked me, so I will just continue to call it the Glutinator Beer until someone tells me to stop.

Glutinator is a pilsner, and trust me, it tastes like Pilsner! You’re inner Saskatchewanite would be so proud of you for drinking this. The only thing missing is a trucker hat and a tailgate party. Maybe we should fashion up a tailgate party for Celiac’s soon. Wow I am full of great ideas today! And I digress from the topic at hand.

Glutinator has a nice light colour and is very low on the fizz factor that plagues most GF beers. I am going to warn you, it must be consumed cold, very very cold. I was not patient enough and had the first one when it was still a little warm, it didn’t end well. The second one was much better because it was chilled sufficiently. Lesson learned.

My only notable complaint about Glutinator is the gold paper seal on the top. It’s hard to pull off and can flake into the beer. If floaters aren’t your thing, I suggest pouring it into a mug so that you can pick out the flakes. Sounds classy doesn’t it!

    Cottage in Lethbridge. Love it.
So not mainstream!! Every other client tells Victoria about the fires in Kelowna.

Anyway. Wherever you are, have very enjoyable happy birthday. Share the cake. I know it’s hard.

P.S. The girls play the card to EVERYBODY who walks through the door. Thank you.

lol Lethbridge is definitely not mainstream! But always warm and has everything you need!

It was a hard to share the cake but I did…reluctantly!

That’s awesome that the card was a hit! It was one of those things that could have gone either way! How did Saturday go? Was there a good turn out?

    -Cheers. Caitlin
