I don't think I would tempt buying used - mostly because I don't know how the machine was used or what it was used for. I've been having the same debate over time. I mostly want one for the winter. We've been trying to get out to Cochrane for bread for a couple weeks but the weather and road conditions are making that impossible. It's like a sick joke being played on me by the universe - it's cold and I want comfort food (aka grilled cheese and soup) but because it's cold I can't get the best bread. If you do get it, let us know how it is.
