They’re getting there people.
O’Doughs is getting much closer to making frozen GF Bread taste like homemade.

Fiance and I picked this up as our “Just In Case” bread. You all know what I’m talking about: “Just in case you run out of GF Patisserie bread and NEED a sandwich like a fat kid needs M&M’s”. We picked this loaf for two reasons, 1) it was a half loaf so if it went bad we weren’t wasting money, and 2) We haven’t tried it yet, so I could blog about it.
To our pleasant surprise it actually tastes better than every other frozen GF Bread we’ve tried. It’s lighter, moister, less crumbly and all around tastier than the others. Good Job O’Doughs, you’re making great strides in the frozen GF bread world and we appreciate it.
Fiance and I found this at Superstore (Deerfoot Meadows, Calgary). If you see it elsewhere please let us know. Some of our readers don’t have such wonderful Superstores in their area.

Hi Caitlin – I stopped by that Superstore last week and bought a package of the O’Dough’s Flax buns for hubby. Brought them back to Red Deer in a cooler my parents lent me – and they are delicious!! He loves them so I will have to try that bread – oh and I bought some of that cookie dough you mentioned but haven’t made yet – I couldn’t find the ice cream sandwiches though
Try those buns – I asked our store manager at Sobey’s to bring the buns in – he’s got some of O’Dough’s cakes in the freezer…………..

I’m so happy you had a chance to stop by. That Superstore is possibly the greatest grocery store on earth. I’m kind of shocked you haven’t tried the cookies yet…you have more will power than I do. I am definitely going to try the buns, I trust your recommendation and I know you won’t lead me astray!

The hamburger buns are delious too – the best bought ones that we’ve found! You can also get them at Planet Organic (in the deli freezer though, not the regular one)

Thanks for the heads up Heather. I really need to start exploring Planet Organic a little more.
