Good luck with the dairy free lifestyle. It's easier than I thought it would be but I do find myself slacking sometimes and paying for it later! There are some great alternatives out there now and it's getting a lot easier to replace dairy for non-dairy. If you need any suggestions just let me know and I'd be happy to help.

Did I hear the word Quiche? No seriously did you say Quiche? Because if you did, I'm all over it like a fat kid on a smartie. I say turn that nudge into a shove and let us all in on the savory deal!

Karen, I hear you loud and clear on the break down part. It comes out of nowhere like a ninja in a dark alley and before you know it, you're losing it over a hot dog. That was one of my 'moments'. I LOVE hot dogs, and since I am the anti-christ of domesticity, hot dogs were a staple in my diet. Would you believe that they don't make GF hot dog buns? (That's a big HINT/PLEA to GF Patisserie!) I lost it Britney Spears style in the grocery store one night because all I wanted was a hot dog. All there is to do is hold on tight and remind yourself that it could be worse - you could have flesh eating disease! I might suggest trying Nellies in Marda Loop. Your options are limited but they get it, and they have awesome customer service. We eat there a lot and love it, because it feels normal. Let me know how it goes - I am as of this moment making breakfast a mission of mine. I WILL find a breakfast worth your time and money!

i feel for you, the need to go out with your friends will always out weigh your GF choices . Good to know about OJ's I have gone there in the past. Sunday I had a melt down and have banned going out for Breakfast. Ended up at a place that did not have Soy for coffee (lactose intolerance) and then out of the whole menu the only thing i can have is eggs/bacon/hashbrowns and tea.... well I can make that at home and it will taste better and have coffee. Hopefully this will pass soon. I felt sorry for my boyfriend!
Love the site..thanks

Brutal! Customer service is key. But not all people believe in it.

I keep nudging Victoria towards a savory side of her business. She get's great response for her Quiche, so maybe eventually in the future....GF Bistro?
