It’s that time again kids.
It’s the time of year when we all go skipping to Tim Horton’s filled with anticipation that is match only by toddlers at Christmas.
It’s Roll Up The Rim time!
Today at lunch I nearly knocked over my boss as I ran out the door to go get my Tim’s. Standing in line was so painful, but I knew that I was going to win big. I had all my bases covered – I’d get an extra large, because I was sure that you had to think big to win big. And I had a great little conversation with the universe. I let them know that all I need was a car or some money. I wasn’t even selfish – I asked for one not both. I could share the winnings with others, I didn’t need all of it all at once.
Well, apparently the universe is mad at me. I’ve really done something to piss them off. How do I know this? I know this because I won. I won a free donut.
Ouch, universe, ouch.

One of my journalism assignments last year was to ask Tim Horton’s for their numbers on who wins what prize from what cup, what province etc.
If you wanna win big you have to buy Extra Large, preferably in Ontario, but “The Western Provinces” was second in line for the good prizes.

Sweet. It’s good to know that I’m on the right track at least. I won’t give up. I just hope the universe forgives me soon. Maybe it’s time to redeem some karma points – I should help an old lady cross the street or save a kitten from a tree.
