In Okotoks? Hungry? Go see Linda.

Who is Linda you ask? She’s the greatest server of all time. Where can she be found you ask? At Cora’s.

Cora’s is your classic breakfast joint with a twist – or shall I say, it’s a twisted breakfast joint. Either way, its all about the breakfast. Possibly the most extensive breakfast menu I’ve ever seen; so much so, that it makes Denny’s look like an amateur poetry reading.

Here’s the catch: you can’t eat anything but the omelets with some fruit. You’re not surprised, this is the way your life goes. Breakfast out in the real world sucks.

So why am I excited about Cora’s in Okotoks? Because Linda knew her stuff. She knew that the margarine they use is NOT GF, she saw to it that there was no cross contamination, and better yet, she asked questions. And really, does it get any better than that? I think not. I’d rather someone ask then assume or guess. I’m not some science experiment nor am I vessel for trial and error. I heart people who take GF and my health seriously.

I Heart Linda.

Even though the menu is limited, I think it’s worth visiting. You’re friends and family can enjoy the extensive menu while you can enjoy some peace of mind. You can find Cora’s in Okotoks and in Calgary – you may not find Linda in Calgary but I’m sure you will find a great omelet.

Happy Breakfast People!
