This post has nothing to do with gluten.
This post has everything to do with the fact that I am currently sitting on life’s Tilt’A'Whirl and I can’t get off. It’s been busy, it’s been chaotic, it’s been challenging and it’s been taking me in circles.
I’m not complaining. Sometimes, these carnival like times in our lives are looked back on as some of the best. And sometimes these carnival rides make us a little dizzy and unable to stand straight. This is where I am today. I’m DIZZY.
So instead of trying to put together a post that makes any sense, I’ve decided to do a little “Life According to The Merlin”. Yes people, you’re about to hear from my dog. I won’t be offended if you log off right now. But I will say this about “The Merlin” – he’s damn fabulous!
Lesson 1: If you stare at someone long enough, eventually you’ll get what you want.

Lesson 2: Leave room in your schedule for a good nap.

Lesson 3: Always give people a warm greeting.

Lesson 4: Allow the experience of fresh air and wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.

He likes the view out of the sunroof best!
Lesson 5: When a toddler puts a strainer on your head like it’s a hat – have some take a photo and laugh it off!

Merlin knows a lot about the good life. We should all take a few lesson from him. He is adorable..who is his buddy the bermese?

That’s his buddy Zeus. I took this picture when they were both puppies, and Zeus has now totally eclipsed Merlin in size! Do you have a dog?

I have 2 and my boyfriend has 2 so we are now a home of 4 dogs.
Mine are 5yr Australian Shepherd/Australian Kelpie (Rocky) and a 1.5yr Beagle/Lhaso Apso/Bichon (Kracker)
Don’s has a 11yr Golden Lab (Touch Down) and a 5yr Golden Retriever (Tanner)
I love Merlin’s name!

A family of 4 dogs – that actually sounds like great fun. And they are all different ages and breeds I bet it’s hysterical having them all together. Merlin is from a line of Airedale’s that we’ve had over my life time, they all had similar names – Excalibur, Saxon and Merlin. He’s such a character and he totally fits his name!

Yes, Zeus would! Even though the Airdale is the “King of the Terriers,” a Berner should make him look petite!
We have a tri-colour border collie named Oliver who came from the Edmonton Humane Society. He was labelled a Bernese Cross, but hello, Oliver is 45 lbs. He is not even half the size of an adult male Bernese MD. He is pretty boy though
Merlin is lovely btw!

I always think that Merlin is a big dog – until he’s standing next to a Berner! But as all Airedales do, he has a big enough personality to make up for it. I love border collie’s, they have so much energy and are so intelligent its scary. Life with dogs is the best life!
