Unidentified Substance

Um, so, um, ya. There’s no better way to say this: There’s an unidentified substance in my mouth.

Boyfriends mom put together a basket of GF goodies for me on my birthday – so totally sweet I know! And inside were these cheese puffs. I was really excited because Cheezie’s were always one of my favourite snack foods. Plus the packaging is so cool, how could the contents inside not be just as awesome.

So what’s the verdict? Well, I wouldn’t describe them as awesome, but I also wouldn’t describe them as bad either. I actually don’t know how to describe them. The best I can come up with is Texture = melty styrofoam with a dusty coating. Taste = kind of like cheese, kind of not. No joke, we ate the whole bag just trying to decide what they tasted like. One bag later – we still don’t know what to say. And trust me people, it’s rare for both Boyfriend and I to be speechless and unable to make judgments! It actually never happens…I guess now I have to say that its only happened once.

If you want to give them a try and maybe see what adjectives you can come up with, you can find them at Community Natural Foods. Maybe it can be a fun way to spend time on a Monday night – grab a bag and a dictionary and a thesaurus, maybe you’ll have better luck in the description then I have.
