Q: Why don’t you post recipes?
A: Because I’m lazy.
There have been lots of times that I have sat down to read recipes and this is what I am faced with:
1 cup white rice flour
1/2 cup sorghum flour
1/2 cup potato starch …
Ya I quit. I quit reading. That’s too much work. That’s too much shopping, to much effort and too much measuring.
I’M LAZY.
When I could eat gluten I could simply scoop flour from the container to the bowl and I refuse to give up that ease just because I’m different. My life these days is all about either modifying from the box or going without.
So, what I will post to you, are modifications you can do to gluten free products that make them taste less “gluten free”. I will post these in the blog as they come, and you too can be lazy with me.
If you’re all about being a Domestic Goddess, then might I suggest checking out glutenfreegirl.com. This woman is a Domestic Goddess and she will show you the way. I will simply show you the short cut!

I’ve only just entered the land of GF cook books. In general, cook books of any type give me the hee-bee-gee-bee’s. But one that I have found helpful is: 125 Best Gluten-Free Recipes by Donna Washburn and Heather Butt.
I usually take the recipes and find ways to cut corners – I’m all about the path of least resistance.
